The money had been taken out of a Bank of America branch in Saratoga Springs, New York, hundreds of miles away from her home in Greater Boston. Matchan later learned than an elderly, wheelchair-bound woman had walked into the bank and presented a fake driver's license with her name on it to get the money. Rhonda James, the president of the Metropolis public library board began receiving letters from distraught parents who complained that their children were being 'indoctrinated' at the local library. 'I did not bring my children to the library for religious indoctrination,' read one letter, which claimed the local library director had prayed with children. The trainee security guard had been in the job two weeks when he attempted to murder his supervisor police said. Heart-stopping footage shows Yusuf saunter up behind his target while he sits at his desk fire twice after the gun jammed the first time. The trainee then fled the scene and was later killed in a shootout with the cops.

Red Lobster customers have taken to social media to say goodbye to the beloved chain as it closes dozens of restaurants and edges towards bankruptcy. The seafood restaurant giant announced the immediate shuttering of 48 restaurants across 21 states on Monday night.  The abrupt closures come after the company last year reported record losses of $11 million, which its CFO partly blamed on its unlimited shrimp deal.
